Veteran adult industry sales and marketing maven Rainey Stricklin and GA Media have sealed a deal for Stricklin to handle GA Media's media advertising and Webmaster service sales.
“I am ecstatic about making this happen," GA chief executive Gary-Alan said announcing the deal. “Rainey and I both started in the industry about the same time, however we met face to face for the first time at Internext this year. When we heard about her new consulting venture at the Phoenix Forum, we decided then and there to sign a deal.
"Rainey’s experience and knowledge of our industry are legendary," he continued. "There are very few others I would trust to handle our sales on this level. I am looking forward to all of the wonderful possibilities working with Rainey has to offer.”
Stricklin – who founded Detour Interactive before going on her own, and is a member of the Women In Adult board of directors – will have access to all media advertising and services available through GA Media, the company said.
Stricklin's recent activities have included handling sales for XXX Cash, an appointment which formed the core of a February 2004 profile of Stricklin in AVN Online. She has also written articles on marketing for XBiz.com, YNOTMasters, and TheAdultWebmaster.com.
