Stevi Secrets to Host P.A.W. Foundation Fundraiser

When 22-year-old starlet Savannah shot herself to death in July 1994, many in the industry were impacted.

None more so than Bill Margold who had befriended the young blond as she struggled with her sudden fame and the fast life of a young, successful performer.

“She was like one of my kids and when she died, it really impacted me,” said Margold.

“But I wanted something positive to come out of that so I started P.A.W. or Protecting Adult Welfare, to help these performers.”

Since its founding, the non-profit organization has helped scores of performers with counseling, health information or simply a person to listen to their concerns.

Today, industry members and P.A.W. supporters are preparing to gather in Phoenix for a fundraiser set for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Stevi’s Secrets strip club, 3420 S. Central Avenue.

The event will feature Porsche Lynn, Bethany Sweet and Alicia Rio along with Paradise Visuals stars Felix Vicious, Sunny Lane, Caroline Pierce, Saki, Faith, Alanna Thomas, Mellissa Edwards, Shavonna, Anita Cannibal and others.

“I really love to help charities and get involved in things to help people,” said Lane.

“It’s for a great cause and I’m just glad I’m a part of it.”

The activities will include raffles, a lingerie auction, feature dance shows, starlets posing for photos and handing out autographs as well as a special appearance by Margold himself who is a journalist, producer and industry veteran of more than 30 years.

“It’s going to be a great show and I’m really thankful of Stevi Secret. She’s an industry success story with the help she has given her girls,” Margold said.

“Savannah was a great girl. Kind of spoiled, but a sweet girl… I’m glad something good came out of her tragedy.”
