Starr Productions Releases Mark Miremont’s Carnival of Desires

Starr Productions has announced the release of Mark Miremont’s Carnival of Desires, a collection of eight films by the mainstream director, photographer and artist.

Best known for his distinctive photography, Miremont’s diverse background includes experimental films that have screened alongside work by Warhol; music videos for Grammy-winning bands like Soundgarden; and wall paintings that have been shown at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art.

His first screenplay was developed through the June Filmmaker’s Lab at Robert Redford’s Sundance Institute, along with Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs, and he has produced four films that have premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

Shot at an opulent mansion and processed using a variety techniques, Carnival of Desires promises to be a unique film.

“Pre-sales have been fantastic – things as diverse as web orders from Japan and Tennessee to mainstream outlets like the Virgin Megastores, said Elizabeth Starr, CEO of Starr Productions.

“I just signed Mark to produce and direct another film,” Starr confirmed, “so this is only the first of what I hope will be a whole line of art erotica that he will create for Starr Productions. Each of the eight films explores a different erotic theme.”

Starr Productions has a library of over 350 films and releases three to five new fetish, art/erotica and Elizabeth Starr “big-bust comedy” films a month.

Mark Miremont’s Carnival of Desires streets in DVD & VHS on September 15. The trailer and more information can be found at www.markmiremont.com and www.starrproductions.biz.
