Starlets Saddle Up for Rodeo

Gina Lynn will join Penthouse Pets and fellow adult film stars on Wednesday night for a female mud wrestling and bikini bull-riding competition at Gilley's inside the Frontier Hotel and Casino.

AVN, Racket Magazine and Penthouse Video have collaborated with the Minxx Gentlemen's Club, the Men's Club, SpyOnVegas.com and Area 108 FM to sponsor the event titled "This Ain't Our First Rodeo." Doghouse Digital, Premium, American Hardcore and Jules Jordan Video have also joined the promotion that will include a three-hour Open Bar and an after-party at Minxx.

Among the Penthouse models scheduled to appear are Andie Valentino, Renee Diaz, Riley Shy, Ashley Roberts and Holly Morgan along with adult performers Penny Flame, Haley Paige, Angelique Morgan, Richelle Ryan, Demi Marx and Anna Belle. Penthouse Video plans to shoot the event.

Meanwhile, Lynn will be an in-studio guest on Las Vegas' Area 108 FM's "Gonzo Show" at 9:15 Wednesday morning in Las Vegas to promote the competition.

"Every time I've ever watched a rodeo on TV I think it's the coolest thing," Lynn told AVN. "I've seen the fake bull-riding before and I'm always like, 'I can do that. I can stay on that bull.'"

Lynn is also looking forward to meeting and greeting the fans during the SpyOnVegas.com Open Bar, which will go from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gilley's, followed by the rodeo from 9 to midnight.

"I always love to interact with my fans so they can see my personality and see a little piece of me," she added. "Wednesday night is going to be a lot of fun. Cowboys are sexy and girls in cowboy hats are even sexier."

Noah Ray, creative director for Racket Magazine which launched in January and is the sister publication to 944, told AVN the gritty venue made the event a natural.

"The Frontier was actually slated to be blown up but the Stardust went first. They actually don't do any marketing except for the marquis on a day-to-day basis, but they recently had a surplus in their marketing budget, and I recently went to their mud wrestling night and it was amazing. So we decided we could definitely do an event here," Ray said. "Unfortunately, we would love to do a quarterly or biannual event, but I don't know how long Gilley's and the Frontier are going to be around."

Ray said that Crown Royal liquor would be sponsoring the three-hour Open Bar, which will come to Gilley's for the first time and provide the backdrop for the talent signing and product giveaways.

"Open Bar has been wildly successful. We just had one at the Hard Rock poolside with 2,500 people," Ray remarked, adding that admission is free from 6 to 9, and after that there would be a cover charge.

Los Angeles-based glamour photographer Lisa Boyle (lisaboylephotography.com), a former Playmate, will also be shooting the girls for a summer layout in Racket Magazine.

"We're looking forward to doing more branding for all the various companies and being sort of a crossover vessel of communication for the adult industry," Ray said.
