Starlets Featured on ABC ‘Primetime’ Segment

Porn starlet Sunny Lane and former Adam and Eve contract star, Sophia Lynn, will be featured on ABC's "Primetime" this coming Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST. The segment is part of an ongoing series of reports entitled "The Outsiders: Unusual People Living Unbelievable Lives."

Lane told AVN.com that she's very excited about the segment — which followed her around for nearly six months, taking over 30 hours of footage — but isn't sure how she'll be portrayed. "I have some butterflies about it," she said, "but I'm just staying really positive."

Lane said that the ABC "Primetime" team sought her out specifically. "They came to me last year, and so I directed them to [publicity agent] April [Storm], because she handles these sorts of things. I'm really thankful to April and my lawyers for helping me out with all of this."

Lane explained that the popular human interest show followed her through her day-to-day life and filmed her at adult industry and mainstream events, including the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas and Vince Neil's Skylar Neil Memorial Golf Tournament. Lane was also interviewed extensively for the broadcast.

"They talked to both of my parents as well, while I was in Vegas," said Lane. Both of the spunky red headed performer's parents are fully supportive of her career in adult entertainment.

"We completely understand that people in the business can be misrepresented on shows like this, and we've seen it happen with other performers," said Storm. "But I can confidently say that Sunny did this in a very respectable and professional way. She always had a lawyer and publicists by her side. We're not sure how they're going to show all of the footage, but we can say that Sunny fulfilled her obligation."

Lane said she sought some advice from other adult industry personalities that have made their way into the mainstream, including Family Business star Seymore Butts, whose talent agency Lighthouse represents Lane and other performers.

Sources told AVN.com that even though former Adam & Eve contract girl Lynn was followed around by the Primetime crew, it's unclear whether she will be featured in the segment.

"I got a lot of great advice and guidance from Seymore," said Lane. "Really, I just want to be another performer or industry person that sheds some positive light on adult. I love the business, I love sex, and I love to show people that sex can be a positive thing. I'm excited that ABC has taken an interest in me, and I get to represent this great industry."

"The Outsiders: Unusual People Living Unbelievable Lives" has featured everything from polygamists to grandparents being parents.
