Star story

Jeff Wozniak poosts: "Gene, I have some news items for you. First of all, Michael Raven told me you called to ask about Excalibur, so I guess you got the info you need.

[Raven confirms that Excalibur, a film, will go before the cameras possibly in June. It will be a costume picture with a whole new storyline that differes from the mainstream King Arthur picture. Katja Kean will have the lead, playing the Lady of the Lake.]

"Zoe is shooting her second feature next week, March 7 and 8 ,in a vid entitled Raging Pink. It features Zoe doing some boxing mixed with sex. Jim Enright is directing and will be shot at his Trac Tech studio on Canoga. You might want to come by and check it out. I don't know the rest of the cast, but I'll find out in the next day or so.

"Now for the juicy story. Yesterday, a reporter for the tabloid The Star came by to check out a lead. He and his researchers called the former boyfriend of Darva Conger, the ill-fated bride in the Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire scandal. He told the reporter, Clif Dunn, that his former girlfriend, Conger, appeared in an adult video. Dunn and group looked for girls that matched Conger's look and found her in our Baby Doll video. It turns out that Vixxen is a dead ringer for Conger.

"He came out, looked at chromes and wanted to know if I could tell him Vixxen's real name. I refused to reveal that info or her social security number, but could confirm that Vixxen's real name is not Darva Conger. However, she was born in Illinois, which Dunn said, was Conger's birthplace. There is an age difference between the two. Conger is 34, Vixxen 27. After some checking and calls to the Star offices, he decided that it was a false lead, but would keep checking. I sent him over to your offices to get on your mailing list.

"I told him to read you for accurate, verifiable info. I don't know if he stopped by or spoke with you, but I thought you might be interested in our side of things and you can do what you want with it.

"The appearances by Zoe and Kameryn on the Jenny Jones Show have been scrapped after both girls declined for various reasons. I'm still trying to get a copy of ShowBiz Today from about two weeks ago with some sound bytes from Michael Raven on the pending legislation to give film productions tax rebates if they will shoot in L.A. and not go out of the country. As soon as I get it, I'll get copies over to you and Tod for inclusion on your website and the media circus column. Thanks, Jeff Wozniak."
