LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Times featured Evil Angel owner John Stagliano and adult talent agent Mark Spiegler in an article about two Christian proselytizers who attended last week's AVN Adult Entertainment Expo to spread the Good Word to porn stars.
Former sex workers Heather Veitch and Annie Lobert were the gospel-spreaders in question, and according to Times correspondent Richared Abowitz, their reception at the convention was none too warm. But that didn't deter them.
"We just sometime expect that kind of reaction," Veitch said in the article. "We are in their territory, and they don't want God there."
Spiegler seemed just fine with their presence. "A lot of girls in this industry could use something stabilizing like religion," he said. "I don't mind what they are doing at all."
