Stabbing Turns Lil' Jon/Video Team Release Party into Crime Scene

Violence broke out at last night's packed release party for Lil' Jon & the East Side Boyz American Sex Series — a new collaboration between adult production house Video Team and the popular rap group — when a security guard at House of Blues - Sunset Strip, where the event took place, was stabbed in the neck following an altercation with several attendees.

According to Sgt. Bruce Thomas of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Dept., the stabbing occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m., and three adult males were arrested in connection. The suspects, whose names Thomas did not release, are being held on charges of attempted murder, with bail set at $1 million.

None of the suspects are believed to be associated with Lil' Jon, BME, or Video Team.

"I’m certainly sorry to hear about the violence, but one thing is certain that wherever Lil’ Jon goes controversy is sure to follow,” Christian Mann, owner of Video Team told AVN.com. “Lil’ Jon is, after all, the king of krunk. The irony is that krunk movement is a departure from the violent aspect of hip-hop; it’s about partying and sex. No one gets stabbed in krunk, they get drunk.”
