– Multiple AVN Award winner Mike South has agreed to direct and co-star – with Cherie Blaze and Jasmine Jade, in their video debuts – in what's called a precedent-setting adult video to be done in Toronto.
Based on an original screenplay by Mark Nakamura (The Spreading Ground, among his other credits), the video will follow two young women in their disparate lives whose worlds collide, one aspiring to stardom and the other to an unrequited love, with their binding tie the unwitting executive producer of the nation's hottest record company, says Ra Media, who will release the video under their Madame Blue imprint.
South plans to shoot the video – planned as a three-act, hardcore screenplay – with full crew, dolly track, crane, and steady-cam support. The feature will include eight hardcore scenes, including group and girl-girl, all of which will bind to the story line and plot relevance, Ra Media says. "But don't be mistaken," they insist. "This is going to be hardcore to the max."
Also coming in on the project will be Paul Raymond, whose makeup work has included Revlon, Playboy, Penthouse, and singer Brittney Spears.
The feature is expected to take two weeks to shoot, with South – known already for using ambitious original music scores, sound design, and dialogue replacement – planning to shoot on the Sony DSR 250 DVCAM Pro, a two-camera shoot. The feature's title and the full cast will be announced just before principal photography begins for the project, Ra says.
"This is truly an unprecedented production undertaking," they say, "requiring the true art and skill of filmmaking."
