Adult DVD online rental site Sireine.com is making some serious headway: Launched publicly at the end of May, the new company already scored a spot as guests on Playboy Radio's Night Calls on June 7 at 4 p.m. PST. They will also be exhibiting at the upcoming Erotica Los Angeles, June 18-20, in Booth 311.
"Sireine is an online adult DVD rental company," creative and marketing director Craig Mannino told AVNOnline.com. "We offer our members several genres to choose from, from which they can rent their movies in the comfort of their homes and have them discreetly delivered to them. We have been running the Web model for almost a year to a private group of friends and coworkers, and have been live to the public as of the end of May.
"It's basically an adult version of Netflix," Sireine.com founder Ella said. "Just the fact that it is a very discreet and convenient way to rent adult DVDs is sure to appeal to men, women and couples alike. Let's face it, who likes going into the local video store's curtained room and looking over your shoulder? What Sireine has come up with is a site that is elegant and tasteful, yet still quite sexy and enticing."
Ella believes that most women feel presentation is very important, and her site reflects that.
"The goal is to make it as comfortable and inviting as possible so as not to turn away even the most apprehensive," she noted.
"We made a very strong effort to bring what would work in a very high-end, classy, mainstream site and applied those design ideas and principals to an adult product," added Mannino. "With that attention to art, design and quality, a major focus also is to offer titles that are of a high quality, both in the DVD itself as well as the film and performers."
The site features a community section with industry news, performer bios, and a non-industry woman's take on adult movies. Sireine.com also partnered with Adam & Eve to offer customers an online shop where they can conveniently purchase adult novelty items they may have seen in a movie they just watched.
Right now they are offering a complimentary DVD for members, and will be offering a limited number of one-month free trials while at Erotica Los Angeles.
