CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Sinsation Pictures has signed an exclusive DVD distribution deal with Spearmint Rhino Films.
Spearmint Rhino Films will handle worldwide distribution for new Sinsation releases as well as the company's back catalog, which includes such titles as The V Word, MILFs Night Out and Strap-On Club. The deal also includes a line of movies produced by Platinum Jewel, owned by AVN award-winning performer Jewel De'Nyle and distributed by Sinsation.
"I'm always looking for companies that can take Sinsation forward," said Sinsation president Paul Marco. "Spearmint Rhino, with its gentlemen's clubs around the world, impressed me with its global reach and is what I'm looking for in a distributor. They're a great fit to what I do and I'm looking forward to working with them."
The deal begins July 1 with the release of My Space 5: MILF Bound. Initial plans call for Spearmint Rhino to release one Sinsation title per week, including one Blu-ray release each month, according to Marco.
"Sinsation puts out a great niche-targeted product, including their 'My Space' line, and with our worldwide distribution and appeal, it's an absolute win-win for both companies," said Ross Yamashita, Spearmint Rhino Films' vice president of marketing. "Both companies are in an expansive growth phase and we're excited about the new partnership."
