Sineplex Entertainment Sponsors Hotwire for Ozzfest

Sineplex Entertainment announced it is sponsoring RCA recording artist Hotwire during the Ozzfest tour this summer.

Hotwire, a hardcore metal band, will be wearing Sineplex clothing and distributing company stickers as it tours the country along with superstar acts such as Korn, Marilyn Manson and of course, Ozzy Osbourne.

"They watch our porn because they love porn," Travis Nestor, director of marketing for Sineplex, told AVN.com Tuesday. "And they've been sporting Sineplex t-shirts at their shows and in interviews."

Nestor and Hotwire guitarist Gabe Garcia are childhood friends that grew up together in Newbury Park.

"I told the guitar player to play guitar so we could be in a band and do concerts and get chicks," Nestor said. "Now he's in the band and I'm in porn."

Hotwire's debut CD, "The Routine," came out on June 10. Sineplex will continue to sponsor Hotwire after Ozzfest as they tour Europe, Asia and Australia, Nestor indicated.

"The band is playing before 8,000 people a night on the Ozzfest," Nestor said. "This is a great opportunity for Sineplex to brand with a great, up-and-coming, punk rock band."
