Sin City Entertainment held a private screening Feb. 2 for press and talent of their big-budget surf title Undertow, using the occasion to announce the winners of their online Undertow contest. Contract stars Hannah Harper and Aurora Snow, both featured in the movie, were on hand to help.
First place winner of a trip for two to Hawaii was Frank Severino, a 53 year-old Las Vegas resident. “I look forward to seeing the big island,” he said via email. “Thank you so much.”
Seattle’s Michael Jacobs, 40, was the runner-up, winning a trip to Los Angeles to watch a SinCity movie being filmed. Other top prizes included an MP3 player and selections of SinCity titles.

Participants were required to answer a series of multiple choice questions found on the site and to fill out an entry form. Eligible entries were entered into a raffle that was drawn during yesterday’s screening.
“In all,” SinCity publicist Devan Cypher told AVN.com, “150,000 entries were recorded.” He said each of them will receive a free month of Undertow on VOD just for being part of the contest,
“Nothing like this has ever been done before,” he said. “It’s truly extraordinary to give away this kind of product to so many people just for entering.”
The Undertow micro site features interviews with the movie’s stars and allows visitors to watch the trailer in a low resolution, fast-loading streaming mode or to download a high-resolution version.
Undertow, directed by Francois Clousot, is a fast-moving action thriller set on the streets and beaches of Los Angeles. It includes street races, guns and sword fights in addition to plentiful sex. Also featured are Shay Sweet, Steven St. Croix and Evan Stone.
