Simon Wolf Productions Signs Cindy Crawford

In a statement issued this morning, John Chambliss, CEO of Simon Wolf Productions, announced that Cindy Crawford has just entered into an exclusive contract with the international production company. rnrn

The performance contract is for a one-year term and calls for Crawford to perform in three scenes a month. Crawford will also participate in promotional events for company. rnrn

"The best thing about Cindy is her ability to be very sexual and act simultaneously. She is, in my opinion, invaluable to us because of the heavy dialogue requirements of our story-driven features," Chambliss told AVN.com. rnrn

Crawford first worked for Simon Wolf Productions in Magic Sex. "To say that we were all pleased with her performance in Magic Sex is an understatement," said Chambliss. rnrn

Apparently, the press was equally receptive to Crawford's performance. ABC Radio Networks highlighted their interview with her on their rock and alternative radio station for several weeks in conjunction with a story they ran on Magic Sex. rnrn

"Then we closed the deal to develop a new series, Real Sex in LA for domestic television through The Erotic Networks and in the European marketplace with Erotic Media AG, and insisted that Cindy be cast as one of the four reoccurring female leads. At this point, with the considerable exposure the new series will generate, we considered it in everyone's best interest to place Cindy under an exclusive arrangement," said Chambliss.rnrn

Cindy Crawford echoed the company's enthusiasm. "Although I've only been in the business a few short months, I was previously familiar and extremely impressed with the quality and imagination embodied by Simon Wolf's work. Then when they invited me to join the cast of Magic Sex, I was blown away with the degree of professionalism that Robert Herrera and Bud Lee brought to production. These guys know what they're doing and treat people with respect - elements I was not used to. Am I happy? You bet I am. Being asked to join Simon Wolf's team is the best thing that can happen to a girl in this business," said Crawford.rnrn

Crawford's first work for Simon Wolf Productions under her contract will be for the initial volume of Real Sex in LA, which will be released in March 2003. Crawford will play the role of Stephanie, the office nymphomaniac.
