Colorado Sand Dollar LLC of Denver has created a “tip and strip” novelty Jenna Jameson Putter for its Blueball Sports division.
“I always thought putting was the best part of my game, and now I can help everyone else to master the short stroke,” Jameson said.
Manufacturers say that the JJPutter looks and handles like an ordinary putter, but as it is removed from the golf bag and flipped over to hit the ball, a two-dimensional, topless image of the AVN Hall of Fame performer begins to reveal itself.
Working on the same gravity-feed principle as the “tip and strip” ballpoint pen a black curtain floats up underneath the grip when held with the club head down. When tipped back up to replace it in the golf bag, the screen slides back into place. The putter conforms to PGA Tour specifications, although the grip is a bit wider than normal to accommodate the image printed inside the transparent shaft.
The putters are available for pre-sale, exclusively through www.JJPutter.com and will ship on June 30. They will be available at selected retail outlets later.
