Sharp Edges Art Show in Los Angeles

Sharp Edges, a presentation of progressive erotic photography by Justice Howard, as well as the poetry of author John Gilmore will be presented one night only, on Saturday, May 20. The show will start at 7 pm.

The show will be held in downtown Los Angeles, and is “not for the sensitive of spirit nor the faint of heart,” say organizers.

Howard is an internationally renowned photographer and Gilmore has over 10 books to his credit, the best known being Severed: Story of the Black Dahlia and Live Fast Die Young, the story of James Dean.

Howard’s images will feature pinup legend Mamie Van Doren in a glamorous murder scene ritual, as well as photos of Dave Navarro, Xene Cervenka, and UFC fighting champion Kimo Leopoldo.

A recreation of the famous Black Dahlia murder scene will be exhibited as well as many other surprises. House of Steel has created custom knives created especially for this event.

Sharp Edges is a benefit for Children of the Night, so donations are expected.

The show will be held on the entire 6th floor at 910 Broadway, in Los Angeles.
