Sharon Mitchell: "I"ll Strip for Sasha"

The question is, will the IRS recognize Sasha Gabor as a charity contribution? Not likely. It's also not likely that AIM can do something specifically to get Sasha out of his financial hole, but there are ways around it.

"We're a non-profit organization and it's always in the hole," says Sharon Mitchell of AIM. "We always are because we extend so many services that we don't make money from. For me, to have a fund raiser and to give solely to Sasha, I'd be willing to do that. However, I can't really put it in conjunction with AIM Healthcare. For me, I have to have monthly fundraisers and monthly parties regardless. I told him [Sasha] we can take a small portion of the proceeds if we wanted to do it that way, like at an AIM party, and donate it. I also told him I'd be happy to take donations from people so long as they understand, that if they earmark for the Sasha Gabor fund, it is not tax deductible. Sasha said that Ron Jeremy was interested in doing a fund raiser.

"I'm down for whatever," says Mitchell. "Here's how I look at. This industry is sometimes very forgetful and never forgiving. I think if we can give back a little bit to someone who has got their life back together, particularly in the areas of drugs and alcohol, and is willing to go through and make amends to the court by being on house arrest, I think they need to be applauded as an example for this industry. I'm down about 100%, having followed these very same principles in my life to turn my life around. I encourage and support anyone who gets their shit together.

"If Sasha needs dough for the rent, I'll strip, I'll dance, I'll sing, I'll have a little fund raiser with Ronnie, whatever," Mitchell says.
