Shane’s World Studios achieved national recognition through their "invasion" of college campuses, sending porn stars to party with undergraduate students across the country. Now they are sending another woman to college - but this time it's for an education.
Jennifer Hillman, a senior at the University of Minnesota, was the recipient of a $500 scholarship from Shane’s World Studios. Hillman was awarded the scholarship over 250 other applicants on the basis of an essay she submitted and her financial need. It probably didn't hurt that she was a fan of Shane's World, especially their College Invasion series.

"We wish her the best of luck in her career goals, and hope that the assistance we offered her can make a difference in her academic life," Shane's World owner Jennie Grant said.
Hillman wrote a letter thanking Shane's World for the scholarship that reads, "(t)he financial award you have sent me will finally enable be to get a new computer which will greatly help this semester. I only wish that more businesses were willing to give back to the public."
"Too many people look down on the adult industry and do not recognize some of the ways the adult industry gives back to the community," Hillman noted.
Shane's World is considering offering more scholarships in the future, though there aren't any more currently scheduled.
