Shane's World Studios has announced that in an effort to more effectively offer store support and brand awareness that it has ended its distribution deal with New Sensations. The company will now be bringing sales and marketing in house.
"We had a long and fruitful relationship with New Sensations but feel the companies are going in different directions," said Jennie Grant, Shane's World owner.
"We wrestled with this very important decision for a long time and felt it was the time to make the jump. We have always wanted to bring our sales in house and are very excited to be doing so."
New Sensations owner Scott Taylor told AVN.com, "Shane's World is a great brand and we are proud to have been a part of their success. However at this time, New Sensations has chosen to focus on a different style of reality based products more in the vein of our Hush Hush label and the successful Blackzilla series."
Taylor went on to say that New Sensations will be making announcements about upcoming releases, next week.
With the news of the dissolution of their distribution agreement, Shane's World Studios brought in a new salesperson, Megan Stokes. Stokes has worked at Shane's World Studios for over two years as the director of internet marketing. She has spent over eight years in the adult industry and has over four years in marketing.
"I am very excited about moving into this position at such and exciting time in the company. We have a new contract girl, several amazing directors and lots of exciting new lines coming," said Stokes.
The owners of the company Brian and Jennie Grant said, "We are thrilled about this new chapter of the company. We feel Megan was the smartest choice we could make. After 10 years in the business we feel this is the right time for these changes."
Grant added, "I'm very excited to have this challenge, it's a daunting task, but I'm really excited to be in this new phase in our career."
Shane's World is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in June.
"It's given us time to refelct over everything we've accomplished," Grant said. "Brian and I were ready to take this next step."
College Invasion 9 will be the first title distributed solely through Shane's World Studios, which can be expected in early June.
