Seymore Butts and Shane, once upon a time the best-known couple in porn, will be working together again this Saturday in Chicago as co-hosts of the Pimp & Ho ball.
“While some people would like to think this is some sort of reunion after an extended period of time, Shane and I have actually remained in contact and friendly over the years,” Butts said. “Although we haven’t done anything like this, I’m comfortable with the idea and quite looking forward to it.”
And as is the tradition with the Pimp & Ho Ball, Butts — and his “ho,” Mari Possa — will be decked out in appropriate fashion.
“I think Scott Fayner called me the worst-dressed guy in the industry, so I don’t think what I’ll be wearing to the ball will be any kind of a stretch,” Butts said.
Showtime will be taping the event for an upcoming episode of Butts’ reality series, Family Business, and AVN will be giving away two trips for two to the AVN Awards Show, January 8 in Las Vegas.
This year’s Pimp & Ho Ball will be held at Chicago’s Transit nightclub.
Advance tickets are available for $25 online at PimpandHoChicago.com, while the remainder will be sold at the door for $35.
While in Chicago, Butts will also do an in-store signing at Slightly Sinful, located at 12300 South Cicero in Alslip, Ill., from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
“We were there last year and we had a great time, so if we were going to do a signing anywhere, Simply Sinful would be the place,” Butts notes. “We were able to work it into our schedule, so I’m happy about that.”
