Venice Beach will be the place to be on Saturday June 7, 2003, as hundreds flock for a glimpse of the first-ever LAs Sexiest competition. Celebrity judges, including famed Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss and Star 98.7s own Lara Scott, will be on-hand to help determine who will qualify to be named LAs Sexiest. A total of $20,000 will be given away to the winners two weeks later at the Erotica Los Angeles convention held at the Los Angeles Convention Center June 20-22, 2003.
LA's Sexiest competition is looking for a man, a woman and a couple who define sexy in the greater Los Angeles area. Over the past month, contestants have been submitting their applications for a chance to be named LAs Sexiest.
There are three categories for competition men, women and even a couples category. Each single category has a chance to win $5,000 with LAs Sexiest Couple competing for $10,000.
The top contestants of Saturdays event will move on to the finals held at the Erotica Los Angeles Convention on June 21, 2003 at 7:00 PM in front of thousands of fans. Contestants can still enter by heading to the Venice Beach Boardwalk at Winward Avenue on Saturday June 7th. On-site registation will be accepted until 11:00 AM.
Heidi Fleiss first grabbed the spotlight as the best-known madam in the world having run the most infamous and successful prostitution business in history from 1990-1993. She was convicted for income tax evasion and served three years in a federal penitentiary. Recently, Ms. Fleiss released a much-anticipated book, Pandering, that tells the truth about the sex scandal that rattled some of the nations highest-profile celebrities and politicians.
Lara Scott is the sexy voice you hear on Star 98.7 from 10:00 AM 3:00 PM every weekday. In addition to her position as a DJ, Lara can be heard on a variety of voice-over and radio commercials. She also appears monthly on the local morning news show, "Good Morning LA," where she hosts the adopt-a-pet segment.
"This ground-breaking event will emphasis and highlight the fact that this years Erotica Los Angeles has many new features giving our attendees more bang for their buck. This is just one of the many new show elements we have added to this years Erotica show.
