SexBrat.com Won't Show Hilton, Will Sue Over Tape

SexBrat.com will not show any Paris Hilton videotape on its Website or endorse anyone now selling or trading the tape anywhere in the marketplace, but they will file multiple lawsuits involving the man who steered the controversial tapes to SexBrat.com in the first place, a publicist retained by SexBrat told AVN.com.

"It is SexBrat.com's belief that there are two victims in this matter: SexBrat.com and Paris Hilton," said Kevin (KB) Blatt, whose new KB Consultants was retained to handle publicity for Seattle-based Arvad Corporation, the parent of SexBrat.com. He said the company's attorneys are looking into a possible fraud case based on the widely publicized sex tape having been made and brought to SexBrat "suspiciously."

Blatt said SexBrat.com attorneys are preparing to file multiple suits against Donald Thrasher, whom Blatt said advised SexBrat.com he "was the broker of the tapes on Rick Solomon's behalf.

"A deal was consummated between Thrasher and SexBrat," he continued. "SexBrat then hired a video company to create a 40-minute documentary of Paris Hilton, complete with interviews of people who have partied or have hung out with Paris, and climaxing with the actual sex video."

The unnamed video company also created a three-minute mixed segment based on the original tape and distributed it to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly, Blatt continued, and it "was based upon that existence that the Paris sex tape was leaked to the press."

Blatt said SexBrat believes "based upon recent due diligence and discovery," the Hilton sex tape was done not only without Hilton's consent but "underhandedly. SexBrat is looking into allegations of fraud at this particular time. We believe it was misrepresented to us at the time the dealings went down. Unfortunately, SexBrat is out a lot of money for the purchase of this tape, and Paris Hilton's public persona has been tarnished."

SexBrat made a deal with Hilton herself that the Website would not air or show it and would destroy any and all duplications in its possession, which Blatt said was in fact done. The company is also cooperating with Hilton and her legal team in the matter, he said. "And, to the best of SexBrat's knowledge," he said, "they have no idea how additional footage was circulated around the Web."

Among other things, Blatt acknowledged, SexBrat attorneys may well be probing whether copies of the sex video were made before SexBrat entered the picture. "That is a distinct possibility," Blatt said. "SexBrat's legal representatives are looking into the possibility that there were myriad tapes floating around prior to the deal with SexBrat."

SexBrat, meanwhile, is working already on trying to get beyond the Hilton controversy.

"They're going to continue bringing controversial content to the Internet," Blatt said. "SexBrat is also looking for hot rich girls who want to do the next SexBrat. This is still going to be kind of your one-stop shop for celebrities truly uncensored. And (Blatt continued) this was a real tape, but it wasn't obtained kosherly, SexBrat likes to do everything by the book. SexBrat is conscientious about the law."
