CYBERSPACE—While regretfully acknowledging that the porn parody may not be in its heyday, Sex.com blogger Chico Dusty pays homage to some of the best that have appeared on DVD during the past year with his newly released “Top 10 Best Parodies of 2014.”
“Even though the market may have been over-saturated with porn parodies in the early days of the genre,” the site observes, “I’m still a fan of quality porn parodies. What’s not to like about seeing familiar characters, costumes, and plots with hot sex added to it?”
Dusty's taste is eclectic, but he does show a preferance for DreamZone Entertainment, giving the top slot to Jordan Septo's The Little Spermaid (above, Ryan Driller and Riley Reid in a still from the movie) and also giving nods to Cape Fear XXX (directed by Bonnie Rotten) and Rambone XXX: A DreamZone Porn Parody (another from Septo).
His other choices cover a wide range of companies while also giving porn parody credit where it's usually due. Will Ryder's biggest of the year, Not Jersey Boys XXX, made the list, and also three by Axel Braun, all for different companies (Spider-Man XXX, Cinderella XXX and This Ain't Game of Thrones XXX).
