There will be a book talk, slide show and play party for the photography book Sex Machines, by author/photography Timothy Archibald at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 19 at the Center for Sex and Culture.
The first half of the evening will be the book talk and slide show, and the second half (after 8 p.m.) will be an adult play party with the machines. The sex machines, machine builders and models from Bonk’er (www.bonkum.com), Thrillhammer (www.thethrillhammer.com) and Monkey Rocker (www.monkeyrocker.com) will all be on hand.
Autographed copies of Sex Machines as well as snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Attendants will be able to see live models play on the sex machines as well as play on the sex machines themselves (safe sex supplies will be available).
Attendants must be 18 or older.
Advance tickets are $25 per person through Acteva.com at: www.acteva.com/go/machines. Tickets the day of the event are $40 per person, at the door, cash only.
