Vivid Entertainment has started shipping its latest feature, Flasher. The large production was shot on film by AVN Hall of Fame director Paul Thomas and features a cast of over 100 people.
“I always put a lot of what I do into every scene and Flasher was no exception,” Vivid Girl Savanna Samson, who is featured on the box cover, told AVN.com. “I love the acting and the writing involved in Paul Thomas’ movies…it’s always great to work with him…it’s a challenge.”
“Savanna has an incredible fan base and her stuff just keeps on selling,” said Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid. “This is another really great title.”
In Flasher, Samson plays Gloria, a woman who has always wanted to be the center of attention, but her mother has always gotten there first.
Samson explained that since she was one of the older Vivid Girls, she had originally been considered for the mother role, but that she fought hard to play Gloria. “In the end, they found [AVN Hall of Famer] Cara Lott to play the mother and she did a great job,” said Samson. “I think it comes off as a very realistic mother/daughter relationship.”
“Cara Lott does a scene with Randy Spears in the title…it was one of her first scenes in a while…and she still looks fantastic,” said Levine.
“The sets are great…they created an entire carnival with a ton of extras.”
As the story continues, a grown up Gloria takes every opportunity to show the world that she has arrived by exposing her naked body in the most inappropriate and public places she can find. At the bank, on the bus, at the carnival — all over town — Gloria is in her glory as long as mom doesn’t get there first.
Samson said that she was attracted to her character’s need for public nudity because she, personally, also loves naughty, public displays. “I was going down Santa Monica Blvd. and flashing people for the movie, and it really got me off,” recalled Samson.
The title also notches up the hardcore sex with six anal scenes. “I’m always trying to make the sex in Vivid titles more hardcore,” said Samson, who stars in three of the the title’s anal scenes, including a g/g anal scene with Brooke Hunter and b/g scenes with both Manuel Ferrara and Buster Good, where they explore her backside. “Manuel is always great…I loved working with him.”
“This is a very hip, young movie that a lot of people will enjoy,” said Samson.
Alongside Samson, Flasher stars Lott, Roxy Jezel, Nikki Nievez, Brooke Haven, Dillan Lauren, Luccia, Marty Romano, Ferrara, Randy Spears, Tony T., Jack Venice, Good and Jerry.
