Salomon Sues LFP Over One Night in Paris PPV Footage

Rick Salomon, the man who appeared in the infamous 2004 X-rated sex video with Paris Hilton, One Night In Paris, has filed a lawsuit against Larry Flynt and his company, LFP Broadcasting LLC, claiming it did not have permission to ink a deal that would broadcast the footage via hotel room pay-per-view, according to a KCBS-TV report and the Courthouse News Service.

Salomon, 37, filed his copyright infringement lawsuit in Los Angeles federal court Thursday. He is seeking at least $5 million in damages, according to the report.

“His suit has no merit," said Hustler founder Larry Flynt. "We will be happy to see him in court.”

In addition to Flynt’s company, the suit also names a company that allegedly signed on to distribute the video, Hospitality Network Inc., as a defendant, said KCBS-TV.

Salomon, Hilton’s one-time boyfriend and also the producer of One Night In Paris, which was distributed by Red Light District, claims LFP does not have rights to the video. The title is now registered with the copyright office, and was not authorized to enter into a licensing agreement with Hospitality Network, Salomon claims.

Salomon and Red Light District president David Joseph were unavailable for comment.
