Sal Genoa to Make Guest Appearance on Mixed Martial Arts Weekly Radio

Anabolic Video director Sal Genoa, who trains in jiu-jitsu when he is not on porn sets, will be a special guest on Mixed Martial Arts Weekly Radio at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Mixed Martial Arts Weekly Radio is the premier national Internet radio show for the growing sport of mixed martial arts. Its guests often include mainstream stars from the wildly popular Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Genoa will discuss his porn directing career and how there is a growing crossover between the adult and mixed-martial-arts worlds with co-hosts Frank Trigg and Ryan Bennett.

Trigg, the UFC welterweight title contender, has been good friends with Genoa, who has been training and competing for the past seven years. Trigg recently handled security for Red Light District at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.

Genoa and Su collaborated on Anabolic's Artcore, which was up for three AVN Awards, including Best All-Sex DVD, Best Director – Non Feature and Best Packaging, at the 2005 ceremony on Saturday in Las Vegas.

"I'm going to talk about my porn career and how it interweaves through fighting, and who in the business trains in mixed martial arts," Genoa told AVN.com Tuesday. "I'll be talking about Dick Delaware…"

Genoa got Delaware, a professional fighter who was nominated for AVN Best Male Newcomer in 2005, into the adult business two years ago. A winner of his last four fights, Delaware, a.k.a. Aaron Brink, could make a return to the UFC heavyweight division this year.

Genoa also helped veteran producer/director Vince Vouyer begin training in jiu-jitsu and said that performers T.T. Boy and Tyler Knight also regularly train in the discipline. In addition, Genoa said that Scotty from www.onthemat.com does some of his editing for his Anabolic videos.
