SYRACUSE MOVES TO SHUT CABARETS

Mike Ross reports: On Monday afternoon, the City of Syracuse takes a page out of Manhattan's history books as they start to review a proposed ordinance that creates an adult entertainment zone, while phasing out uses for adult entertainment in the City.

The ordinance, which is just 5 pages long (or short), establishes a 1000 foot separation between adult businesses and moves them to a location on the outskirts of town. This is the same proposal that was up before the Elections.
