The details are being kept confidential by Los Angeles Superior Court, but it looks like Howard Stern and Ministry of Film, Inc. have settled the suit out of court.

The Los Angeles Times says the 1997 suit claims Ministry of Film failed to raise enough money to make Jane, with Stern asking for an undisclosed sum of money. Jury selection was about to begin when news of the settlement broke.

The suit said Stern signed a contract with Ministry of Film in July 1997, with shooting scheduled to start a month later.

Stern, known for his risqué radio and television shows and his frequent battles over the content of his shows, has starred in Private Parts, the film version of his autobiography.
