Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras \nVAN NUYS, CA - The steam is expected to rise from Bourbon Street come Mardi Gras - adult heavyweights Vivid, HiRise, and Cybererotica plan a live 24-hour video feed from Mardi Gras in what Vivid's Brian Gross calls the world's first interactive Web party.
"Users from around the world will be able to join the event via the internet through the sponsors' three stationary balcony cameras and two roaming cameras hooked up directly to a special web portal," Gross says. The program will also include so-far unnamed special Vivid guests.
Internet Specialties will supply the video feed technology, allowing adult Web surfers to see and hear revelers and chat online in real time, through one of four Web sites: www.vividvideo.com, www.hirise.com, www.cybererotica.com, or www.liveatmardigras.com.
