SSW Offering Merchant Accounts

S-Search Web S.L. (SSW), a Malaga, Spain-based company has announced that they will be accepting high-risk merchant account applications from online operators.

“We do the processing, we do the customer service, we own our own gateway. We’re a complete front end and back end card processor,” said SSW marketing director Bill Maddox. “We’re just like Paycom, CCBill and we’re designed to compete with the big boys.”

Services include processing for merchants classified with MCC 5967 and MCC 7995, with applications getting approval in about three days.

The company has the ability to take on a large roster of merchants because it uses a large bank, according to Maddox.

“Our banks are so large, we’re not going to have to worry about (high-risk processing) limitations until we’re well above $100 million a month,” he said.

SSW, which currently represents a number of online casinos, is a European Union company and can only do business with other European corporations. U.S.-based companies have to have a domicile in any EU country in order to do business with SSW.

“You’ve got to be a merchant who’s doing a reasonable amount of business because it’s going to cost you $1500 to $2500 to create (the company), based on country. But a lot of people want to be non-U.S. based – not subject to U.S. rules and regulations. Of all the merchants we already have running in the United States, they’re all owned by a EU entity. That surprised us when we started taking our first applications,” Maddox said.

Currently, SSW has a roster of 15 American online.

The company also offers a fraud protection service.
