Aiming to discourage youth from quickies in cars, doorways, and parks, a local Spanish government thinks it's found a novel way to promote safe sex - discounts at youth hostels.
Reuters says the Extremadura region's head of youth affairs, Antonio Fernandez, thinks hostels should offer young couples seeking romantic liaisons lower rates. He timed his recommendation for Wednesday's International AIDS Day activities, suggesting ways for young people to have sex more safely and responsibly, according to the newspaper Diario.
``It would prevent young people from doing it in a rush in the car, in the park or in the doorway,'' he told the paper.
