SOME BABYDOL CLIENTS WERE HEIDI'S, TOO

It is possible that Jody (Babydol) Gibson, facing charges of running one of the region's largest call girl services, shared some high-powered entertainment industry clientele with former rival Heidi Fleiss.

``There are names that people would recognize as possibly being some of Heidi's clients,'' Lt. Michael Felix said. ``There are people in the entertainment industry involved. Actors, a professional athlete, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies.''

The 41-year-old Gibson was in court during a preliminary hearing Thursday. She's pleaded innocent to thirteen charges which include pandering, pimping, and conspiracy for a service said to involve some thirty call girls and one hundred clients, says the Associated Press.

Testimony also included that of an undercover officer, Cynthia Neff, whom Gibson - also known as Sasha - employed to work as a call girl. Neff testified Gibson received as much as 40 percent for up to $1,000 paid by clients around the country.

Felix testified that when Gibson was arrested in June, the call girl prices had a range between $500 and $3000.

In a contiguous development, Fleiss - the Hollywood Madam - was released from federal prison Tuesday. Fleiss was convicted in 1995 of conspiracy, income tax evasion, and money laundering.
