LOS ANGELES—AVN Hall of Famer Will Ryder turns his lens on the backstage antics in a Los Angeles television news studio with new Adam & Eve Pictures comedy Love, Sex & TV News.
Due out September 22, the movie stars Sarah Vandella, Skin Diamond, Carmen Caliente, Janice Griffith, Capri Cavanni, Nick Manning, Seth Gamble, Chad White, Kurt Lockwood and Alec Knight, with non-sex appearances by Karen Summer, Anya Ivy, Lucky Starr, Frank Bukkwyd and Roy Karch, among others.
The story focuses on Vandella's character, producer Maggie, going after a scoop on high-priced escorts in order to boost her station's sinking ratings, while also attempting to revive her own crumbled love life.
"I think we'd win the Nielsen Ratings," Ryder said. "This is a great movie with a great cast. If you ever wondered what it was like inside a big city TV news station, Love, Sex & TV News shows the good, the bad and the sexy in a very unique style. It might be our most enjoyable movie yet."
Ryder had especially high praise for Vandella's performance. "The acting is honestly spectacular and I was able to work with some of my favorites. Sarah Vandella delivers the performance of her career," he said. "She is magnificent, completely believable, and has a a good chance to win the best actress award. The entire cast and crew crushed this one."
Love, Sex & TV News runs 119 minutes, contains six sex scenes, and offers 96 minuters of extras including behind-the-scenes, bonus sex scenes, interviews and more.
