CHATSWORTH, Calif. - The first new title to be produced by VCX in a number of years, AVN Hall of Famer Roy Karch's Angel Face, has wrapped shooting and is expected to be ready for release by early 2008.
Co-produced with Roy Karch Productions as the first in a multi-picture deal, Angel Face features never-before-seen starlet Marie McCray, who won the lead role after a months-long search.
"It took us all summer, but the wait was well worth it," said Karch. "Marie reminds me of Marilyn Chambers, the original 'Ivory Snow Girl' of the early '70s ... pure as a snowflake, yet with an insatiable appetite for sex."
Added VCX owner David Sutton, "We expect to be able to give the industry its first look at Angel Face during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January. This title is significant, in that VCX has been associated with the biggest classics in the adult industry since its beginning, and this will be no different. Our collaboration with Roy Karch Productions will build that heritage of defining and producing classics for the future. Our goal is to bring the fun back into porn."
