Roxy Jezel Walking For National MS Society

LOS ANGELES – Club Jenna contract performer Roxy Jezel will be devoting her time and effort to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society on April 6 by participating in a walkathon to raise money for research to fight the muscle-wasting disease.

Jezel has a personal reason for getting involved. She told AVN, "I have a good friend and she was diagnosed with MS two years ago. There are going to be 600 walks going on around America that day and we're all raising money."

Jezel will be walking at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. She said, "It's going to be a really cool family event. There's a website called NationalMSSociety.org, and you can simply scroll down to the 'Walk MS' link and that will take you to a place where you can make a donation or sponsor a walker. From there, you can type in the name Roxy Jezel and my page will come up. So far, since last week, I've raised $500. It's a five-kilometer walk that we'll be doing. And nearly 90 percent of the funds raised actually go to the charity instead of administrative costs."

Jezel also noted that she's part of a walking team. "It's called Rebels with a Cause. You can see us on our page. And I've been posting bulletins on my MySpace page."

Those interested in sponsoring Jezel and learning more about MS are urged to go to NationalMSSociety.org.

And, remember, donating to a charity is a tax write-off.
