Nectar Entertainment contract director Damien Rossi’s debut release under the 1st Strike banner, The Darker Side of Sin, signals a new phase for Nectar’s hardcore imprint, according to CEO Sean Logan.
“We’ve evolved into a company that offers the best of both worlds – Nectar offers high concept movies for adventurous couples, something we call eroticore, and 1st Strike releases straightforward wall-to-wall sex, albeit with superior production values.”
Rossi’s first movie for Nectar, Evil Bitches, is a fetish-inspired eroticore movie that was released in September.
The Darker Side of Sin is an all-black wall-to-wall line. The debut volume of the series features Alayah Sashu, Lori Alexia, Sydnee Capri, Angel Eyes, Ashley Brooks, and Promise.
Other projects that Rossi has started for 1st Strike Entertainment include an as yet to be titled fresh faces series that is slated for a November release.
“We just launched 1st Strike in April, but we’ve already successfully established the brand and the release of The Darker Side of Sin marks the completion of our team. Damien is an important part of the equation for our company, rounding out both of our brands,” Logan said.
“We went from releasing one or two titles a month to our current schedule of three movies every month, and we’re not just releasing them, we’re selling out of each title.”
