up phone conversation, Mike Ross had this to say relative to comments made by Kat Sunlove about him.
Ross: "I've been a lobbyist for over 23 years. What Kat says about me is a lie. If it was true, they would have taken my license away and put me in jail. What she describes is illegal. I have never, ever had any problems, any legal conflicts, never had anybody file a complaint. I've never been late filing my forms. Maybe I've made a couple of mistakes on the forms but never with dollars and cents. If I was doing what she says, that's very illegal. The Secretary of States' office would have taken my license and put me in jail a long time ago."
Gene sez: "Call me silly. But I reread Sunlove's comments, and, outside of acccusing Ross of interminable ego, there's nothing in there that smacks of the suggestion of unlawful conduct.
