Rocco Siffredi Stars in Antigua Pictures' Uninhibited

Antigua Pictures is set to release its largest production to date in Uninhibited. The title, which was directed by Buck Adams and features Rocco Siffredi, was originally shot in early 1995. Jon Blatt, president of domestic distribution at Antigua, told AVN.com that this movie was the one that put the veteran performer/director Siffredi on the industry map.

“This release put Siffredi out there for something other than his hardcore stuff,” said Blatt. “This was a big budget movie. In fact, to this day, Uninhibited remains the most expensive adult film ever made at 1.2 million dollars.”

The movie, which also stars KC, Dominique, Tony Montana and Sean Michaels, follows the dangerous life of Gun (played by Siffredi), a homicide cop who has fallen from grace with the police force. After his partner is shot down, Gun is put on a drug cartel case. He then enters a world of sin as an undercover vice officer.

Uninhibited was shot completely on 35 mm film over 15 days in several locations throughout California, including a yacht that Blatt said belonged to the President of Yugoslavia. Not only did the film not spare expenses with the locations and crew, Blatt explained, but original music was also composed for the action feature.

HBO picked the film up after it was originally released, and edited some of the hardcore scenes out, for which it received an “R” rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. After that, the USA channel edited the feature even more and aired it.

“We were never really intending on releasing the footage,” Blatt told AVN.com, “but [President of Antigua Pictures] Todd [Blatt] and I were looking through our vault of footage, and we noticed that we had the original hardcore version of the movie.”

“Of course this is Antigua’s biggest project as well,” added Jon Blatt, “and I’m really excited about this one.”

Uninhibited ships on Wednesday and streets on July 6. For more information on Antigua Pictures, go to www.antiguapictures.com.
