Rhode Island Club Fire Claims Life of Ty Longley

While his remains have yet to be identified, the fire that ravaged a night club in Rhode Island is thought to have killed Ty Longley, who had joined Great White as a guitarist three years ago.

Longley, 31, had worked in the adult industry in various capacities both behind and in front of the camera. He appeared in a number of videos for Zane and Legend as well as others, as well as working in the Zane Entertainment warehouse.

"When I worked a Legend he worked at Zane. He was a really, really nice guy and it's pretty fucked up that he's gone," Jeff Steward told AVN.com. "Knowing Ty, he was probably trying to help someone get out. That's the sort of guy he was."

Longley, originally from Sharon, Pennsylvania, was sharing an apartment with Mark Zicari, young brother of Matt Zicari, in a Northridge apartment.

"He was quiet, very quiet. He was generous, nice, easygoing," said Zicari, who had lived with Longley for three years.

Longley is survived by his father, mother, and sister - and has a child on the way from his girlfriend Heidi, who currently lives in Chicago.
