HOLLYWOOD—Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, the much-anticipated celebrity sex tape of James Deen and "Teen Mom" Farrah Abraham doin' the nasty, debuted on Vivid Entertainment's website last night, and according to a story in the New York Post, within 12 hours of the posting, it brought 2 million viewers to the site, most of whom likely paid their $4.95 for the complete 70-minute look at the mainstream personality getting it on with one of porn's most popular studs.
The movie proved so popular that according to TMZ, it actually crashed Vivid's servers for 9 minutes this morning—hopefully not while anyone was on the brink of anything.
"We couldn't be happier with the success of the Farrah tape," said Vivid co-owner Steven Hirsch after being apprised of the news. "This thing has 'Kim' written all over it."
Vivid currently offers 18 celebrity hardcore videos, all of which can be found here, and the Post reports that the Abraham/Deen movie is far and away the one consumers are most interested in. By comparison, the company's next most popular video, Kim Kardashian: Superstar, featuring the celebutante and her then-boyfriend, hip-hop artist Ray J, managed just 600,000 hits—still a respectable number—in that same half-day time period.
“I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from men and women telling me this is the best sex tape they’ve ever seen from a celebrity so I’m humbled,” Abraham told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
But supposedly, the star herself won't be watching her own video anytime soon.
"I’ve made my business deal [for a reported $1.5 million] and now they hold the rights and can edit and alter the movie in whatever way they wish," Abraham said. "That might make it more pornographic in order to suit their adult entertainment fans. Therefore, I’d rather stick to watching my version because that is what I had control over. I am happy with it as a keepsake."
