A referendum committee has been created to fight Scottsdale’s new tougher strip club ordinance, according to a report in the East Valley Tribune.
The committee is called Citizens Against Bad Government and Los Angeles personal trainer Dave Rajput is heading the group. Last week, the Scottsdale City Council unanimously approved measures to restrict strippers from performing within four feet of customers. The Council also voted to forbid complete nudity, according to the story.
The committee must collect at least 3,384 signatures from Scottsdale voters by January 11, 2006, the Tribune reported.
There are two adult cabarets in Scottsdale. One club is part owned by Jenna Jameson .
