Taylor says the company is poised for crossover into mainstream and cable projects. Its main principals have lengthy resumes from mainstream entertainment. Emphasis in new production will be on couples-oriented movies.

Red Luci’s first major release is the documentary The Legendary John C. Holmes. It will ship, simultaneous VHS and DVD, on February 10, 2004—the same day as Wonderland, the Hollywood movie based on the actor’s life. It will go out in two versions, "edited and unedited," for sale in mainstream as well as adult sections. According to Taylor, it contains "actual sex scenes not seen before on video or DVD," along with appearances by such stars as Ginger Lynn and Sharon Mitchell.

The company’s CEO is Allan Bari, who recently completed a licensing agreement for a Red Luci clothing line
