According to the official fan site of Damageplan, a new metal band signed to Elektra Records featuring members of Pantera, the multi-AVN-Award winner has been tapped to direct their debut video.

Initial response to the news by fans seems to be mixed, some supporting the decision to hire a porn director and some expressing dismay that Dimebag Darrell (guitar) and Vinnie Paul (drums), two of the original members of Pantera were associating with a porn director.

The video is set in Dallas, the hometown of Darrell and Paul.

Ezra, who is known in adult for features such as Serenity In Toyland, Riders, and Love Shack, has worked with Darrell and Paul before - he directed the video for Pantera's "Drag the Waters," video.

The video Ezra directed for Damageplan is for the single Breathing New Life” from their debut album New Found Power, due on February 10, 2004 through Elektra Records.
