LOS ANGELES—AVN Hall of Fame French actress-director Rebecca Lord has joined forces with Jon Yuma, producer-director for Nasty Pixxx, to re-ignite Rebecca Lord Productions. She has already completed principal shooting on eight new productions across Europe, and her first monthly release, titled Do Not Disturb, is coming this month from Exile Distribution. Do Not Disturb stars Anissa Kate, winner of AVN's Female Foreign Performer of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and one of the biggest draws for Private Media Group. In addition, it features popular European performer Carla Cox.
Lord explained, “I created my new movies for those who want better sex, for couples who enjoy sharing adult movies together. Women are even more demanding of ‘better’ than men. They enjoy movies made in nice locations with good-looking women AND men.”
Her couples-oriented theme targets an important niche in the adult market. “People enjoy a diversity of movies; I want to satisfy those adventurous couples who love to push boundaries in their private lives,” Lord added.
Movies from Rebecca Lord Productions will showcase top European performers and contract stars, plus internet girls who've appeared on Met Art and X-Art, among them Nikita Bellucci, Silvie Deluxe, Ivy, Valentina Nappi and Satin Bloom. These award-winning performers hail from France, Spain, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Russia, Romania, Hungary and Italy.
Lord helms her productions in stellar locations across Europe, while Yuma runs the business and marketing side of the company from the U.S. Although Yuma has produced and directed 165 titles, he explained, “Our division of effort best reflects our respective skills at this point, plus these couples-oriented movies are definitely Rebecca’s vision; I am proud to represent them.”
Yuma added: “Everything about her productions screams high-end quality on screen—beautiful and natural girls, striking locations (even sex in a helicopter!), lighting, camera work, video effects and special care in the editing.”
John Stagliano of Evil Angel offered this take on Rebecca Lord’s movies: “I really like these movies. The art direction is great and I feel like the people are really enjoying the sex; the editing is really good also.”
During her run as an actress, Lord made movies with top U.S. and European directors and companies. She also had leading roles in the mainstream titles I Am a Sex Addict (2005) and Infidelity (2011), and she directed such TV series as Lady Chatterley’s Stories (Showtime), Bedtime Stories (Cinemax) and Kama Sutra (European TV), as well as a wide range of adult movies for Wicked, Dorcel, IFG-Spain and her own company—the first incarnaton of Rebecca Lord Productions.
