Rainey Stricklin Joins Epoch

Former PrideBucks Vice President of Marketing Rainey Stricklin has joined the Epoch team as director of business development.

Stricklin will report to Chief Administrative Officer Patrick Curran. Her duties will include working closely with the sales, marketing, and executive teams to bring in new business, develop new marketing strategies, and assist in communications.

Stricklin's first day on the job will be March 5, and she told AVNOnline.com she plans "to hit the ground running. I'm excited to dive into building new client relationships and help the marketing team come up with new and different ways to brand what is already the most associated brand with billing."

Stricklin joins Epoch with an extensive background in public relations, marketing, and sales. A journalism major at Arizona State University, she worked for four years as a reporter for a number of Arizona-based newspapers and magazines before she relocated to California and—after writing some site reviews for WebSideStory's mainstream directory—stumbled into a career change when she landed a position as WSS' vice president of media. Four years later, she left to start her own adult sales and marketing company, Detour Interactive, but decided to forgo business ownership for a more secure job with PrideBucks, where she spent nearly three years.

Stricklin's nine years in the adult industry was a selling point for Epoch.

"We're very excited to have Rainey join the Epoch team and feel that we now truly have a 'dream team,'" said Curran. "With Rainey's skills and experience in the industry, we are confident we will be able to continue to offer our clients the best service out there."

For her part, Stricklin said she could not be happier about joining forces with the growing billing company.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be joining the dynamic team at Epoch," she said. "When I felt like it was my time to move on from my last position [at PrideBucks], I looked around the industry, and there was really only one choice for me: Epoch.

"They're an incredible company with a stellar reputation," Stricklin continued. "I know they'll provide me ample opportunity for professional growth and challenges while utilizing my sales, marketing, and journalistic background. I know there are huge things on the horizon for Epoch, and I'm so excited to be part of their future."
