Kevin Korey of Quest Multimedia which designed the shanesworld.com website reports that the site just got a sterling review from raincoater.net which does critiques of adult websites and porn star sites.
"They became a member of the site unbeknownst to us and gave the site their highest rating ever," Korey says. Korey is also doing a site for former Playboy Playmate Charlotte Kemp and, possibly, 15 other Playmates who are waiting to see what develops from the Kemp-Korey alliance. "She [Kemp] has been screwed many times by other webmasters," says Korey. "My name came up in the ethical Top 10." Korey could only wish the ethics-angle extended to other parts of his business. He claims a former employee is trying to steal his client base.
Korey: "I hired a guy named Adam 'Wando' Wandolowski. I moved him out here from Colorado. He worked for me a little while as a graphics guy. He moved into my house. I bought all the food. Paid all the bills and paid him. Now he and his girlfriend went and got their own place. Now he's trying to solicit my clients. The whole thing was totally abused. While he was here he was sending out resumes from my office using my lines, using my telephones to solicit other peoples' websites.
"He's a young kid trying to be a band guy in LA. He's a pretty good graphics guy but he has zero business sense and wasn't on top of things. But he won't stay away from my clients. That's what you get for helping somebody out. He's trying to take credit for the shanesworld site, but he caused just as many problems as he solved. He didn't do what the client wanted to do. He wanted to do what he wanted to do." [Sounds like an artist to us.]
Other than that, things are going peachy for Korey.
Korey: "We're doing some more mainstream-stuff with bands, we've got Renee LaRue's site up and running, we're getting to totally revamp Nakita's [Ka$h] site; we're getting ready to redo Gina Ryder's. We got a lot of work going on and we're doing business cards and promotional materials for just everybody that we can find in the business. We're trying to branch off in many different areas."
