If ever a video title belied its contents, this is it. In what's billed as Ashlyn Gere's final movie, Gere immerses herself in an Italian opera that's more like the trauma ward of the Barbara Stanwyck Institute, meaning that, as the feel good movie of the year, this one probably isn't. From the opening frames of Gere arriving home to find Luciano as inconsolable as a man can get without, actually, physically having lost his penis, the vid puts the pieces of a very weird puzzle together in many strange and disturbing ways. Their young son, Brandon, is dead with Ashlyn finding consolation in pills, a bath tub and a wine bottle; Luciano, a vodka bottle. And it's off we go to dysfunction junction with a bloody bassinet, vehicular homicide and suicide being some of the quaintly understated props in this roadshow from hell. The upshoot of all this is that Gere probably should have had a good dose of Melatonin before hitting the hay, but she didn't. nnIn one hallucinogenic episode, Luciano confronts Brandon's teacher Kristi Myst who's about to have the kind of relationship with one of her students [Rich Handsome] that gets you on Jerry Springer. What transpires is an almost maniacal fuck bolstered by some great in-your-face shots of Kristi's ass which gets fucked a million times over by Luciano. After which, Gere has visions of a satanic creature attacking Brandon's bassinet with a pitchfork, but this doesn't necessarily prohibit her from engaging in a furiously endowed bedroom fuck that also land's Looch's dick in her backside from several positions. Luciano then finds himself in a cemetery where he's verbally and physically confronted by Kristi and Jessica Jewel who probably would have gone on forever with the abuse were it not for the sexual intervention of what, arguably, appears to be a Christ figure [Backey J.]. nnBefore you can say sign me up for Catechism class, Kristi again gets it in the butt and then, a resounding third time in a follow-up scene that looks like a birthday party for Rosemary's baby where she and Angelica Sin, get d.p.'d by Luciano and Backey. In the guilt portion of her flashbacks, Gere cheats on her husband with Brandon Iron while the son's at the nanny's. Iron clasps Ashlyn's hands behind her back and doggie humps her with the sexual dignity of a slobbering St. Bernard in heat. After which, Ashlyn, casually drunk, runs over a mother [Lizzy Borden] and child in a stroller. Finding Ashlyn in a bath tub full of blood, Luciano presses a revolver beneath his chin. Fact is, they just don't make 'em like this anymore
