Pure Play Media has signed a distribution deal with Web-based reality porn producer Hundies Entertainment.
“We are very pleased to add Hundies to our stable of studios. Hundies adds a unique element to our roster, which I would characterize as being a little more raw and gonzo like,” said Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold.
Hundies has been producing adult content for a number of Web sites featuring a number of top stars such as Sunny Lane, Ava Rose, Courtney Cummz and Tiffany Rayne among others.
But this latest deal brings the company into the DVD market for the first time. Its upcoming titles will be produced under the “Hundies Presents” label, featuring five vignette-style scenes, photo galleries and trailers. The titles of many of its lines will come directly from its successful reality-porn Web sites.
Christine Taylor, Hundies CEO, said this deal marks a major move up for her company.
“I saw the success that Pure Play has distributing online companies and I thought they would be a good fit for our product. I knew that Pure Play was a good option for me and I’m counting on them to take Hundies to the next level of success."
Domestic distribution of Hundies DVDs will be handled by Pure Play Media, with its subsidiary, Deep Star Broadcasting, handling the broadcast distribution in the U.S. Its European subsidiary Pure Play Media GmbH will handle both DVD and broadcast distribution in Europe while Pure Play Media Canada will handle all Canadian distribution.
