Pure Play Sales Winners Take Private Trip

Private, sponsored by Pure Play Media, provided a dream trip to Cannes, France, for the top buyers/sellers of their March sales contest.

Winners were chosen from each of three categories: Retailers, E-tailers and Distributors.

The distributor winner was Jackson Supply Co., of Winter Park, Fla.; the retailer was Adult Video Warehouse of North Palm Beach, Calif.; and E-Tailer was Xrentdvd.com from Santa Ana, Calif.

Winning representatives were first taken to a hotel that was ideally situated in Barcelona’s city center, just minutes from the bustle of the world's busiest seaport, the medieval romance of its Gothic Quarter, and a feast of Catalan Art Nouveau buildings – including the great creations of Antonio Gaudí. Before they could finish their first cocktails, the winners were each awarded 200 Euros by Pure Play Media President, Sieg Badke. The first two days in Barcelona were spent enjoying the city at leisure. Then the group took a tour of the Private offices and had a traditional Tapas Spanish lunch with Private executives.

Early Saturday morning, Private chartered a luxury motor coach to take the winners on a scenic drive to Cannes. Arriving in Cannes with just enough time to don formal apparel, the winners made their way to the marina where the Private Bellisima was docked. After enjoying cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the yacht, the group strolled down the Croisette and settled in for a relaxing dinner. The evening's fun was just beginning though, as the more spry among them joined Private for more evening festivities in the famous VIP Room.

The winners had the last three days of the trip to explore all that Cannes has to offer. Some enjoyed the Cote D’Azure, the Riviera of Hollywood lore and a land of sunglasses, convertibles, and palm trees lording over indigo surf. They made their way from glamorous St-Tropez and Cannes through picturesque Antibes to sophisticated Monte Carlo. Still others spent the time lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun and catching up on some well-earned rest and relaxation.
